Various Wiccan
traditions assign certain colors to represent the four directions, also
known as the four quarters. In most Wiccan traditions, beings known as
elementals are evoked at each quarter. Before rituals or spell casting
it is a most powerful practice to evoke the energies of the four
quarters in a focused way. This gives you power to use these energies to
bend matter to your choosing. In alignment with the energies of the four
quarters, you can create magick.
